Drip's price depends on one thing only: how many contacts you store. Sends are unlimited, so it is not email volume that costs, it is the size of your list. Here are the levers to watch.

Contact count (the only real lever)

Every new contact pushes you toward the next tier. At 2,500 contacts you pay $39, at 5,000 it is $89, at 10,000 it is $154. A list full of unsubscribed or inactive contacts inflates the bill for nothing, so clean it regularly.

No free plan

Unlike Klaviyo, Omnisend or Mailchimp, Drip has no permanent free plan. You get a 14-day trial, but a limited one (around 100 total emails). To stay on Drip, you move to the paid tier as soon as the trial ends.

SMS, closed to new accounts
