How Much Does Lemlist Cost?
The real price of the multichannel tool, plan by plan, per seat.
Short answer: Lemlist starts around $69/month per seat on the Email plan billed monthly (about $55 billed annually), with a 14-day free trial and no card required. The detail that changes everything: Lemlist bills per user, not by volume. Every person you add pays their own subscription, so the price climbs with the team. The Multichannel plan, which adds LinkedIn and calls, runs about $109/month per seat. We walk through every plan and what it really costs whether you are solo, a team of three, or an agency.

Lemlist, the key numbers
What each Lemlist plan costs
Here are Lemlist's plans. The price is shown per seat, which is the whole point of this tool. The main price is annual, the lowest; monthly runs about 20% higher. The 650M+ contact lead database is included on paid plans, but enrichment credits are capped. Prices checked June 2026 and should be verified on the official page, as the structure shifted during the year.

Prices checked June 2026 and cross-referenced across sources. Exact rates vary by source (between $69 and $79 for the Email plan) because Lemlist raised prices by $10/user in February 2025 for new customers. A legacy Email Starter plan at $39/seat remains active for existing customers but can no longer be subscribed to. Verify the current price on lemlist.com/pricing before you pay.
Per-seat pricing, what it changes
This is Lemlist's real quirk. Where Instantly or Smartlead charge a platform subscription the whole team shares, Lemlist bills each user separately. It looks minor on paper, but it multiplies the bill in practice. Here is what it means.
Every seat is a full subscription
A Multichannel seat at ~$109/month is the price for one person. Three reps means three times that: ~$327/month. The tool does not get pricier per feature, it gets pricier per head. The bigger your team, the wider the gap with volume-billed tools.
Extra sending addresses cost more
Each plan includes 3 to 5 sending addresses per seat. Beyond that, budget ~$9/mailbox/month. To scale cold email, where you multiply mailboxes to protect deliverability, this line adds up fast on top of the per-seat price.
Enrichment credits expire
The 650M+ contact database is included, but revealing an email or phone burns enrichment credits, capped each month (200 to 1,000 depending on sources, to verify). A recurring complaint in reviews: those credits do not roll over month to month. Top-ups run ~$10 per 1,000 credits.
WhatsApp and VoIP as add-ons
Multichannel includes LinkedIn and the dialer, but WhatsApp is a separate add-on at ~$20-29/user/month. VoIP call numbers reportedly cost ~$15/month (single source, to verify). Lemlist offers neither white-label nor a sliding agency rate.
- Solo? The per-seat model works in your favor, just one subscription to pay.
- Running a team? Multiply the plan price by your number of users before judging.
- Scaling cold email? Add ~$9/month per extra sending address.
- Heavy on enrichment? Watch the credits, they do not roll over monthly.
- Want WhatsApp? It is a paid add-on, not included in Multichannel.
How we cost the real bill
Lemlist's listed price is a per-seat price: it tells you nothing until you multiply it by team size. To estimate the real cost, we take the Multichannel plan billed annually (~$87/seat), add 2 sending addresses per user (~$9 each) and run three profiles. Here is the math.
- Solo (1 seat)1 × $87 + mailboxes + VoIP number, per month~$120
- Team of 33 × $87 + 6 mailboxes, billed yearly, per month~$315
- Agency (10 seats)10 × $87 + 20 mailboxes, per month, excl. WhatsApp~$1,050
- Key variableThe price tracks user count, not volume× seats

What you actually pay per month
The price depends on seat count, not volume. Three typical profiles on the annual Multichannel plan, assumptions stated.
Estimates in USD, annual. WhatsApp add-on excluded unless noted.
Solo
1 user
- 1 Multichannel seat (~$87)
- 2 extra sending addresses (+$18)
- VoIP number (+$15, to verify)
Team of 3
The typical case
- 3 Multichannel seats (3 × $87)
- 6 extra sending addresses (+$54)
- About $3,780/year, growing per added head
Agency
10 users
- 10 Multichannel seats (10 × $87)
- 20 extra sending addresses (+$180)
- WhatsApp on top: +$200-290/month
Estimates billed annually (June 2026), Multichannel plan, 2 mailboxes per seat. Adjust for your real plan. Unlike Instantly or Smartlead, billed by volume on a shared subscription, Lemlist's price tracks seat count: a team of 10 pays ten times a solo's rate. Lemlist offers no sliding agency rate and no white-label.
Lemlist's price against the alternatives
Lemlist's entry plan compared with the other outbound tools we have tested. Mind the model: Lemlist and Apollo bill per seat, Instantly and Smartlead bill by volume on a shared subscription. For a team, that changes everything.

- 650M+ contact database included
- Price multiplied by user count
Instantly
Cold email, by volume
- Email only, no LinkedIn
- Unlimited sending accounts
- One rate shared by the whole team
Smartlead
Cold email, by volume

- Near-unlimited mailboxes
- One rate shared by the whole team
Apollo
Sales + data, per seat
- Database included from the entry plan
- Email sequences, limited LinkedIn
- Billed per user, like Lemlist
Entry prices checked June 2026. For a team of 5 on Multichannel, Lemlist runs 5 × $109 = $545/month, where Instantly ($97) or Smartlead ($94) bill a single platform subscription: Lemlist costs 5 to 6× more at that team size. In return, it natively bundles LinkedIn and calls, where Instantly and Smartlead require third-party tools ($50 to $100+/month extra).
So, is Lemlist expensive?
Our take after testing it: it depends entirely on your team size and your need for multichannel. Here is when it is worth it, and when it stings.
Good value if…
You are solo or a pair and you want email + LinkedIn + calls in one tool. At ~$109/seat, Lemlist replaces two or three subscriptions (a sender, a LinkedIn tool, a lead database). For a solo multichannel operator, the consolidation justifies the price.
Too expensive if…
You run a team of 5+ and you mostly do cold email. Per-seat pricing blows up the bill: 5 × $109 = $545/month where Instantly or Smartlead bill under $100 for the whole team. If LinkedIn and calls are not essential, you are paying a premium for versatility you do not use.
How to pay less
Go annual (−20%). Stay on the Email plan if you do not need LinkedIn and calls. Only buy seats that are truly active, and hold off on extra mailboxes and the WhatsApp add-on until you need them. Watch your enrichment credits, they do not roll over.
- Pay yearly: roughly 20% off across all plans.
- Compute your real price = plan price × number of seats, not the headline figure.
- Stay on the Email plan if LinkedIn and calls are not essential.
- Only enable the WhatsApp add-on and extra mailboxes when you need them.
- Use the 14-day free trial, no card, to validate the tool before adding seats.
Frequently asked questions about Lemlist pricing
How much does Lemlist cost per month?
Lemlist starts around $69/month per seat on the Email plan billed monthly, or about $55/seat billed annually. The Multichannel plan, which adds LinkedIn and calls, runs about $109/month per seat ($87 annually). The key point: these are per-user prices, not a platform subscription. A team of three on Multichannel therefore pays about $327/month billed monthly. Verify the exact price on lemlist.com/pricing, because rates shifted in 2025 and vary by source between $69 and $79 for the Email plan. Why does Lemlist charge per seat?
Lemlist chose a per-user model because it is built for sales teams, where each person runs their own campaigns, mailbox and contacts. Unlike Instantly or Smartlead, which sell a platform subscription the whole team shares, every Lemlist member gets a full seat of their own. The upside: a clean, isolated account per person. The downside: the price climbs mechanically with team size. For a solo it is neutral; for a team of five or ten it is the number-one cost factor to plan for.How much does Lemlist cost for a team of 3?
Budget about $315/month billed annually on the Multichannel plan: 3 seats at ~$87 make $261, plus about $54 for 6 extra sending addresses (2 per user). Billed monthly, without the annual discount, the total runs closer to $381/month. That is roughly $3,780/year on annual billing. It is the direct result of per-seat billing: every person added pays their own subscription. If LinkedIn and calls are not essential, the Email plan cuts the bill by about 30% per seat.Is Lemlist more expensive than Instantly or Smartlead?
For a team, yes, clearly. Smartlead starts at $39/month and Instantly at $37.60/month annually, and both are platform subscriptions shared by the whole team. Lemlist bills per seat, so its price multiplies by user count. For a team of five, Lemlist Multichannel runs $545/month versus under $100 for Instantly or Smartlead, 5 to 6 times more. In return, Lemlist bundles LinkedIn and calls where the other two only do email. So the math depends on your need for multichannel and your team size. What is the difference between the Email and Multichannel plans?
The Email plan (~$69/seat/month) covers cold email with Lemwarm for deliverability, the 650M+ contact database, 3 sending addresses and AI personalization. The Multichannel plan (~$109/seat/month) adds LinkedIn automation (visits, invites, messages), the VoIP dialer for outbound calls, 5 sending addresses and more enrichment credits. The roughly $40/seat difference buys access to the LinkedIn and phone channels. If you only do cold email, the Email plan is enough; if you want to orchestrate several channels in one tool, Multichannel earns its place. Is the lead database included in Lemlist's price?
Yes. The 650M+ B2B contact database is included on all paid plans, with no separate access fee. That is a real edge over tools where data is billed apart. The catch: revealing an email or phone burns enrichment credits, capped each month (200 to 1,000 depending on plan and source, to verify). A recurring complaint in reviews, those credits do not roll over month to month. Past the quota, a top-up costs about $10 per 1,000 credits. So you get the database, but heavy use has a cost.Is there a discount for paying Lemlist annually?
Yes. Annual billing saves about 20% across all plans, which is consistent across sources. The Email plan drops from about $69 to $55/seat/month, and Multichannel from about $109 to $87/seat/month. It is the main lever for paying Lemlist less. Note: Lemlist raised prices by $10/user/month for new customers in February 2025, while existing customers kept the old rate. Always check the current rate on the official page before committing for a year.Does Lemlist have a free trial or a free plan?
Lemlist offers a 14-day free trial, no card required, with access to the full Multichannel plan. That is enough to test email, LinkedIn and calls before committing. A very limited free version also existed (Chrome extension and 100 leads per month max), but its availability in June 2026 remains to be confirmed. The safest path is to start with the 14-day trial, validate the tool on a single seat, then add users only once value is proven, since every extra seat costs money. What are Lemlist's hidden costs?
Several lines stack on top of the per-seat price. Sending addresses beyond those included cost about $9/mailbox/month, which adds up when you multiply mailboxes for cold email. WhatsApp automation is a separate add-on at about $20-29/user/month, not included in Multichannel. VoIP call numbers reportedly cost about $15/month (single source, to verify). And enrichment credits with no monthly rollover mean you lose whatever you do not use. Finally, Lemlist offers neither white-label nor a sliding agency rate, a handicap for anyone managing several clients. How much does Lemlist cost for an agency?
For an agency of 10 users on the annual Multichannel plan, budget about $1,050/month: 10 seats at ~$87 make $870, plus about $180 for 20 extra sending addresses, roughly $12,600/year, excluding the WhatsApp add-on. With WhatsApp enabled, the total climbs to $1,250 to $1,340/month. Important: Lemlist offers neither white-label nor a sliding agency rate, which makes it a costly pick for agencies against a Smartlead built for that case. If you manage many clients in pure cold email, the per-seat model works against you.
