Lindy vs Turbotic 2026

Short answer: pick Lindy if your main bottleneck is inbox, calendar and CRM admin as a solo operator; pick Turbotic if you want transparent per-execution billing, self-healing workflows and a genuine free tier that does not expire in seven days.

The catch worth knowing upfront: Lindy scores 2.4/5 on Trustpilot ("Poor") with documented billing-after-cancellation complaints as of June 2026, and its Plus plan hides the per-action credit cost. Turbotic launched its SMB builder only in November 2025 and its support page was returning a 404 when we tested it. Both have real flaws. The five rounds below tell you exactly where each one wins and where each one falls short.

Romain CochardCEO of Hack'celerationTurbotic edges the overall score (3.6 vs 3.4). The five rounds explain why.

Criterion by criterion, head to head

The same five criteria scored on each tool's individual review page. Equal scores still get a clear pick.

Round 1 · Ease of use

01 Round 1: getting the first workflow live.

Lindy
3.9/5
WinnerLindy
Turbotic
3.8/5
Our verdictEase of use · Winner : Lindy

Lindy takes this by a narrow margin at 3.9 to 3.8, and the gap is real for one specific type of user: someone who wants a personal-assistant agent running this afternoon. The 100+ pre-built templates mean you pick a starting point rather than staring at a blank canvas, and the natural language instruction model removes the trigger/action mapping mental overhead entirely. A legal head on G2 described the setup as frictionless in under a session, and that rings true for simple agents in Gmail, Google Calendar and HubSpot.

The comparison flips on complexity. Lindy has no native debugging tools: when an agent behaves unexpectedly, your options are edit the instruction, run again, and hope. Turbotic's plain-English builder is also genuinely low-friction for simple tasks, and the proof is concrete: 1,600 automations were built in five days at the Hack the Future 2025 hackathon. Both hit a real wall on complex, multi-step workflows, and Turbotic's navigation between separate workflows has been flagged as clunky on Product Hunt. Turbotic's support page was returning a 404 during our June 2026 research, which is a rough first impression for any new user trying to self-serve.

Net result: Lindy wins for personal admin workflows; Turbotic wins for anyone who needs business process automation with predictable execution logic once simple tasks are out of scope.

Lindy

Choose Lindy if your goal is personal workflows: email triage, meeting notes, CRM updates, live this afternoon.

Turbotic

Choose Turbotic if you are building business process automations and want explicit execution logic without opaque credit burn.

Round 2 · Value for money

02 Round 2: where the bill actually lands.

Lindy
2.6/5
WinnerTurbotic
Turbotic
3.4/5
Our verdictValue for money · Winner : Turbotic

Turbotic wins this clearly at 3.4 to 2.6, and the reason is structural. Turbotic Basic at $14.99/seat/month publishes its execution caps (up to 1,000 executions per month on the upper tier, 50 automations). The bill is predictable before you sign up. Lindy Plus at $49.99/month uses an opaque credit system: per-action costs are not published anywhere in Lindy's official docs, unused credits expire monthly with no rollover, and overages are billed at double the standard rate.

The worked example the dossier supports: a solo operator running 400 automations per month, 200 AI chats and 30 workflow types sits comfortably inside Turbotic Basic at $14.99, compared to Lindy Plus at $49.99 for similar volume. That is 3.3x the monthly cost with less cost predictability. Turbotic's free plan at $0 (100 executions, no credit card) is a genuine test on-ramp; Lindy's free tier at 400 credits is largely blocked by premium action requirements on any real workflow.

The billing red flag that competitors have not reported: multiple Lindy users documented charges after cancellation on Trustpilot in 2026 (one confirmed $34.99 post-deletion; another billed a full year after free trial cancellation). Lindy's Trustpilot score stands at 2.4/5 as of June 2026. That is a real cost-risk for any team doing a serious evaluation, and it weighs in Turbotic's favour here even accounting for Turbotic's own execution-metering complexity.

Lindy

Choose Lindy if the AI-in-the-loop value justifies the opacity and you have run the 7-day Pro trial to estimate real credit burn.

Turbotic

Choose Turbotic if predictable monthly costs are a hard requirement, especially for a team or budget-sensitive evaluation.

Round 3 · Features and depth

03 Round 3: raw depth and what each platform can actually do.

Lindy
4.1/5
WinnerTurbotic
Turbotic
4.3/5
Our verdictFeatures and depth · Winner : Turbotic

Turbotic edges this 4.3 to 4.1, but both tools score high here because they are deep in genuinely different directions. Turbotic's decisive advantage is self-healing automations: the platform detects API changes, token expirations and field renames, then rewrites the affected step automatically before alerting you. Lindy has no equivalent layer. Turbotic's five-module Orchestration product (Idea, Discovery, Build, Control, Value) adds a full RPA lifecycle layer that has no match in Lindy at any plan tier. Multi-model chaining, where Claude handles sentiment and GPT-4 handles summaries in a single workflow, is documented on Turbotic. Lindy's Pipedream partnership added 500+ new actions in July 2025, meaningfully expanding its integration surface.

Where Lindy wins on features: the Gaia voice agent for inbound and outbound calls is production-ready and has no Turbotic equivalent at the SMB tier. Autopilot (computer use, Pro+ plan, added in Lindy 3.0, August 2025) lets agents navigate any web app without an API, a capability Turbotic does not replicate. For teams where those specific use cases matter, Lindy's feature set is irreplaceable.

The honest ceiling on both: Lindy's agents occasionally hallucinate or ignore explicit instructions under production load (documented in May 2026 Trustpilot reviews). Turbotic's multi-agent debugging tools are limited and its advanced workflow documentation has gaps. Neither is fully mature for mission-critical, unsupervised workloads.

Lindy

Choose Lindy for voice agents (Gaia) or computer use (Autopilot), both production-ready and with no Turbotic equivalent.

Turbotic

Choose Turbotic for self-healing automations, multi-model chaining, or the full RPA orchestration lifecycle.

Round 4 · Customer support and assistance

04 Round 4: who answers when it breaks.

Lindy
2.8/5
WinnerTurbotic
Turbotic
3.2/5
Our verdictCustomer support and assistance · Winner : Turbotic

Turbotic edges this 3.2 to 2.8, and neither tool deserves a strong score in this round. Turbotic's compliance infrastructure is genuinely solid: ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 on both products, Microsoft Azure hosting, and Enterprise-tier onboarding with dedicated account management and a named phone line. Stated support hours are Monday to Friday 8AM to 6PM CET. That is a credible enterprise posture.

The honest problem with Turbotic: the public support page and FAQ page both returned 404 during our June 2026 research. No public knowledge base was found. For a product marketed as no-code, a missing or broken self-service layer is a meaningful gap for anyone trying to resolve a basic question independently. The community is also thin because Automation AI only launched in November 2025.

Lindy's support story is worse on the documented evidence. Its Trustpilot score is 2.4/5 with detailed complaints: a Max subscriber catalogued 14 distinct bugs over 6 to 8 weeks, escalated each one through official channels, and received minimal resolution. Emails sent to wrong recipients on multiple occasions, OAuth tokens failing on Google Calendar triggers, support emails bouncing on lower tiers. No live chat on any non-Enterprise plan. The Lindy Academy docs are adequate for standard setup but fall apart the moment something breaks in unsupervised production.

Verdict: Turbotic wins on compliance infrastructure and enterprise onboarding; Lindy wins on self-service documentation quality for standard workflows. Both fail on production-level support at individual plan tiers.

Lindy

Choose Lindy if standard workflow docs and the Academy cover your use case and you do not need production-level support.

Turbotic

Choose Turbotic if ISO 27001 certification and dedicated enterprise onboarding are requirements for your security review.

Round 5 · Available integrations

05 Round 5: breadth of connectors and the universal API layer.

Lindy
3.6/5
WinnerLindy
Turbotic
3.5/5
Our verdictAvailable integrations · Winner : Lindy

Lindy takes this by a narrow margin at 3.6 to 3.5. The headline claim of 3,000+ integrations includes Zapier and Make bridges, so the native library is closer to 200+ apps via the Pipedream partnership added in July 2025. For Lindy's target audience, the native connectors cover the core stack well: Gmail, Google Calendar, HubSpot, Salesforce, Zendesk, Slack, Airtable, Notion and QuickBooks, plus HTTP Fetch for any REST API.

Turbotic takes the opposite approach: API-first code generation means any service with a public API is theoretically reachable. Named natives include Outlook, HubSpot, Jira, UiPath, ServiceNow and the full Microsoft Graph API. For Microsoft-centric stacks or enterprise toolchains, Turbotic has a meaningful edge in relevant connectors. The RPA orchestration connectors (UiPath, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism) are also unique to Turbotic.

The deciding factor for this round: Lindy's broader named catalog across Google Workspace, Salesforce and consumer SaaS gives it the edge for the widest range of solo and SMB use cases. The honest caveat: Lindy's Google OAuth reliability issues, documented in May 2026 reviews, reduce the effective integration count for automated, unsupervised workflows. A connector that exists but fails intermittently is worse than a connector that is not listed. Neither platform approaches Zapier (8,000+) or Make for click-to-connect breadth.

Lindy

Choose Lindy for Google Workspace, HubSpot, Salesforce and a broader consumer SaaS catalog.

Turbotic

Choose Turbotic for Microsoft stacks, enterprise toolchains (UiPath, ServiceNow, Jira) or any API-generated connector.

The shortlist

Pick by scenario

Choose Lindy if…

  • Your core workflows are personal admin: inbox triage, meeting prep, post-call CRM updates in Google Workspace + HubSpot
  • You need a production-ready voice agent (Gaia) for inbound or outbound calls without building from scratch
  • You want computer use (Autopilot, Pro+ plan) to let agents navigate web apps that have no public API
  • You value 100+ pre-built templates and faster first-agent deployment over billing predictability
  • HIPAA compliance is a requirement and you are prepared to negotiate an Enterprise plan with a signed BAA

Choose Turbotic if…

  • Predictable, transparent billing is non-negotiable: Turbotic publishes execution caps per plan; Lindy does not publish per-action credit costs
  • You run an existing RPA stack (UiPath, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism) and need a governance and ROI orchestration layer
  • Self-healing automations matter: workflows that detect broken integrations and rewrite themselves before raising an alert
  • Your stack is Microsoft-centric (Outlook, Teams, Azure) or ISO 27001 + SOC 2 Type 2 is a hard compliance requirement
  • Budget is a constraint: Turbotic Basic at $14.99/seat/month with a real free tier costs roughly 3x less than Lindy Plus for comparable automation volume

FAQ · 10 questions

Frequently asked questions

  • Is Lindy AI free to use?
Lindy has a 7-day free trial with full Pro features and no credit card required. There is no permanent free plan: the legacy 400-credit tier is no longer available for new signups according to the official pricing page (verify on lindy.ai/pricing before evaluating). Turbotic offers a genuine permanent free plan at $0/month with 100 executions, 100 AI chats and 3 automations, with no credit card required to start.
  • Is Turbotic free to use?
The Automation AI product has a permanent free plan: $0/month with 100 executions, 100 AI chats and up to 3 automations. No credit card required. The enterprise Automation Orchestration platform is a separate product with no free tier, sold via demo and quote through the Azure Marketplace.
  • Lindy vs Turbotic vs Zapier: which should you choose?
Zapier is the safest default for deterministic trigger-action data routing across 8,000+ apps. Lindy wins when AI judgment is in the loop: inbox reasoning, reply drafting, meeting notes. Turbotic wins for plain-English workflow creation with self-healing reliability and transparent per-execution billing. Budget rule: Zapier or Turbotic for structured-data routing; Lindy for AI-native personal-assistant tasks; Turbotic Orchestration if you already run UiPath or Power Automate.
  • Lindy vs Turbotic vs n8n: which is cheapest for a small team?
n8n self-hosted is free software (open-source, Community Edition). Turbotic Basic is $14.99/seat/month. Lindy Plus is $49.99/month. For two to three team members, self-hosted n8n wins on price if you can manage the infrastructure. Turbotic Basic is the cheapest managed option. Lindy is the most expensive and least cost-predictable, because per-action credit costs are not publicly itemized.
  • Can you migrate from Lindy to Turbotic?
There is no native migration tool. Lindy workflows are described in natural language in Lindy's proprietary agent format; Turbotic builds automations in its own AI-generated execution layer. Migration means re-describing workflows in Turbotic's chat builder. For standard business workflows (email handling, CRM updates, scheduling), the re-description process can be done quickly. Turbotic claims automations can be running within five minutes of plain-English description. Migration of voice agent (Gaia) or computer-use workflows is not possible since Turbotic has no equivalent at the SMB tier.
  • Is Lindy AI GDPR and HIPAA compliant?
HIPAA BAA is available exclusively on Lindy's Enterprise plan. SOC 2, GDPR and PIPEDA compliance apply at all tiers. Individual plans (Plus, Pro, Max) have no signed BAA. Turbotic holds ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 across both products and published EU AI Act compliance guidance for the August 2026 deadline. Turbotic's HIPAA posture is not confirmed in public documentation; contact Turbotic sales for a DPA if health data processing is a requirement.
  • What is the best AI automation tool for a non-technical SMB in 2026?
Turbotic Automation AI if the priority is plain-English workflow creation with self-healing and predictable $14.99/month billing. Lindy if the primary bottleneck is personal admin: email, calendar and CRM management for a solo operator or small team. Both are genuinely no-code for simple cases. Both require prompt engineering for complex multi-step flows.
  • How does Turbotic's self-healing compare to Lindy?
Turbotic monitors running automations for API changes, token expirations and field renames, then rewrites the affected step automatically before alerting the user. This is a documented production feature (turbotic.com/blog, June 2026). Lindy has no equivalent self-healing layer. Broken automations in Lindy require manual diagnosis and re-instruction, with no native debugging trace. This is one of the documented pain points in May 2026 Trustpilot reviews of Lindy's Max plan.
  • Who founded Turbotic and is it reliable enough to trust in 2026?
Turbotic was founded in August 2020 in Stockholm, Sweden, by Theo Bergqvist and Alexander Hannerland. Bergqvist previously led global AI and data strategy at Ericsson and co-founded Paradox Interactive (Nasdaq-listed). Enterprise clients include Ericsson, Sony, Volvo, LinkedIn, SAS and Xerox. The Automation AI product launched on November 13, 2025, so it is approximately seven months old at the time of this comparison. The orchestration business is established; the SMB builder is still early. Pilot before committing.
  • What are the biggest hidden costs in Lindy vs Turbotic?
Lindy: credit burn rate is unpublished; overages are billed at double the standard rate; unused credits expire monthly; billing-after-cancellation is documented on Trustpilot (2.4/5, June 2026). Turbotic: execution caps scale the bill as workflows run more often, a workflow executing 500 times per month may push from Basic to Pro ($14.99 to $79.99); sub-tier complexity within Basic suggests pricing may vary. Both tools: AI-generated automations may require iteration that consumes additional credits or executions beyond the initial estimate.
