How Much Does Uniqode Cost?
The real price of the dynamic QR code platform, plan by plan, with the annual-only catch spelled out.
Short answer: Uniqode starts at $5/month on Starter, but that buys only 3 dynamic QR codes and one seat, billed annually. Need 250 QR codes, API access and GPS tracking? That is Pro at $49/month. Working as a team? Plus at $99/month for 3 seats. The thing to know upfront: Uniqode bills annually only on the QR plans, so there is no real monthly escape hatch beyond the 14-day trial. We walk through every plan, what pushes the bill up, and what you really pay for your case.

Uniqode, the key numbers
What each Uniqode plan costs
These are the dynamic QR code plans, the core of Uniqode. Prices are the annual equivalent per month, because Uniqode does not sell a monthly option on these plans: you commit for a year, paid upfront. The tiers are driven by how many dynamic QR codes you need (3, 50, 250, 500), how many seats, and how long you keep analytics. Digital business cards are a separate product, covered just after.

Prices checked June 2026 on the official pricing page and cross-referenced across several third-party sources (Tekpon, G2). Uniqode bills the QR plans annually only, so the per-month figures above assume a full year paid upfront. Scan allowances beyond Starter and the Business+ price are not published in detail, so we keep them qualitative. There is no permanent free plan for dynamic QR codes, but static QR codes are free for life.
What makes the bill climb
The $5 entry price is real, but it covers very little. Uniqode's bill grows on five clear levers, and most of them mean jumping a whole plan, not adding an a la carte option. Here is what to watch.
Seats (team work)
You get a single seat all the way up to Pro ($49). Working as a team means moving to Plus ($99), which includes 3 seats, then +$5/seat beyond that. So a 5-person team on Plus runs $99 plus two extra seats. Plan for it before you onboard colleagues.
Number of dynamic QR codes
The tiers are hard caps: 3, then 50, 250, 500 dynamic QR codes. Going over does not add a per-unit fee, it forces a full plan upgrade. So 4 QR codes already pushes you off Starter and onto Lite, and 51 onto Pro.
Analytics retention
History runs from 30 days on Starter to 180 days on Plus. If you need a long scan history for reporting or seasonal campaigns, that alone can be the reason to climb a tier, regardless of how many QR codes you actually use.
API, GPS and integrations
API access, GPS tracking and integrations are gated to Pro ($49) and up. If your campaign needs location data or to plug QR generation into your stack, Starter and Lite are out, and you jump straight to the $49 tier.
Digital business cards
Digital business cards are a separate product, not part of the QR subscription. They have their own free plan, then a Team tier at $6/user/month, and Business+ on quote. Budget them on top if you need them.
- Just 3 QR codes and one user? Starter at $5 is enough.
- Need bulk creation or lead-capture forms? Lite at $15.
- Want API, GPS or 250 QR codes? You jump straight to Pro at $49.
- Adding teammates? Plus gives 3 seats, then it is +$5/seat.
- Need digital business cards? Budget $6/user/month on top.
How we size the real cost
Uniqode's $5 entry price hides the real cost, because the tiers are driven by levers people overlook: QR code count, seats, analytics retention and feature gates like API and GPS. To size what you actually pay, we map each typical use case to the lowest plan that genuinely covers it, on annual billing, and we flag when a single feature forces a jump.
- QR code count3, 50, 250, 500: over the cap means a plan upgradeHard caps
- SeatsOne seat until Pro, then Plus and +$5/seat1 to 3+
- Analytics retentionLonger history can be the reason to climb a tier30 to 180 days
- Feature gatesReserved from Pro: forces the $49 tierAPI, GPS

Solo, 3 QR codes
A first campaign
- Starter plan, 1 seat
- 3 dynamic QR codes, 25,000 scans
- 30-day analytics, no API or GPS
Solo pro, 250 QR codes
API and GPS needed
- Pro plan, about $588/year
- 250 QR codes, API, GPS, integrations
- 90-day analytics, still 1 seat
Small team, Plus
3 people, 500 QR codes
- Plus plan, about $1,188/year
- 3 seats included, then +$5/seat
- 180-day analytics, custom domain option
Enterprise, Business+
White-label and SSO
- Unlimited QR codes and seats
- SSO, white-label, dedicated CSM
- Price not public, confirm with sales
Estimates with annual billing (June 2026), based on the lowest plan that covers each case. Uniqode caps QR codes hard and gates API and GPS to Pro, so a single requirement can force a jump from $5 to $49. The Business+ price is not published, so we keep it as a custom quote, typically several hundred dollars a month depending on volume according to third-party sources, to confirm on the official page.
Uniqode's price versus the alternatives
Uniqode's $5 entry is one of the lowest on the market, but it only buys 3 QR codes. Here is how the paid entry prices line up against the main dynamic QR rivals we track.
Entry prices checked June 2026. Different QR allowances.
Uniqode
Annual billing only
- Pro at $49 for 250 QR, API, GPS
- Static QR codes free for life
- No monthly option, annual upfront
QR Code Generator PRO
QR tiers, unlimited scans
- Professional ~$37.50/month (250 QR)
- Cheaper than Uniqode Pro at 250 QR
- Billed by QR tiers, scans unlimited
Bitly QR
QR quota per month
- Growth $29/month (10 QR/month)
- Quota counts created QR per month
- Penalizing for bulk creation
Flowcode
QR tiers, free with watermark
- Pro ~$60/month (April 2026)
- Build $99, Grow $250 higher up
- Free plan carries a watermark
Entry prices checked June 2026 on the official pages and cross-referenced. Uniqode has the lowest headline price ($5) but the smallest entry allowance (3 QR codes). At 250 QR codes with API, Uniqode Pro ($49) sits between QR Code Generator Professional (~$37.50) and Flowcode Pro (~$60). Watch Bitly: its quota counts QR codes created per month, not a total stock, which hurts bulk creation. And remember Uniqode is annual only, so no short monthly test past the 14-day trial.
So, is Uniqode expensive?
Our take after weighing the tiers: Uniqode is cheap to start and fair in the middle, but the annual-only commitment and the hard QR caps are the things that catch people out. Here is when it pays off, and how to pay less.
Good value if…
You have a stable QR need that fits a tier cleanly. Three QR codes for a poster campaign at $5, or a serious solo setup with 250 codes, API and GPS on Pro at $49, are both competitive. The free lifetime static QR codes are a genuine bonus if you only need fixed links.
Less appealing if…
You want to test month to month, or you sit just over a cap. Annual billing only means no real short-term trial past 14 days, and going from 3 to 4 QR codes or from 1 to 2 seats can mean a full plan jump. If you need 250 QR codes purely for volume, QR Code Generator (~$37.50) undercuts Pro.
How to pay less
Use the 14-day trial and the 30-day money-back window to validate before you commit the year. Pick the tier that matches your real QR count, do not overbuy retention you will not read, and keep digital business cards off the plan unless you genuinely use them. Static QR codes stay free, so use them where a link never changes.
- Use the 14-day trial and 30-day money-back before committing the year.
- Match the tier to your real QR count, the caps are hard.
- Need API or GPS? Budget the jump straight to Pro at $49.
- Use free static QR codes wherever the link never changes.
- Add digital business cards ($6/user) only if you really use them.
Frequently asked questions about Uniqode pricing
How much does Uniqode cost per month?
Uniqode starts at $5/month on the Starter plan, billed annually, for 3 dynamic QR codes and one seat. From there it climbs to $15/month on Lite (50 QR codes), $49/month on Pro (250 QR codes, API and GPS), and $99/month on Plus (500 QR codes, 3 seats). The top Business+ tier is a custom quote. Keep in mind these are annual-equivalent prices, since Uniqode does not offer a monthly option on the QR plans. How much does Uniqode cost per year?
Because Uniqode bills annually, the yearly figure is what you actually commit to upfront. Starter at $5/month works out to about $60/year, Lite at $15 to roughly $180/year, Pro at $49 to about $588/year, and Plus at $99 to around $1,188/year for 3 seats. Business+ is quoted case by case. Annual billing saves roughly 20% versus the reference rate, but it also means no short monthly exit beyond the 14-day trial.Does Uniqode have a free plan?
Not for dynamic QR codes. There is no permanent free plan on the dynamic side, so any QR code you want to edit, redirect or track after printing requires a paid plan from $5/month. Static QR codes, however, are free for life: if your link never changes, you can generate those at no cost. Uniqode's separate digital business card product also has its own free plan, but that is a different tool from the QR subscription.Does Uniqode offer a free trial?
Yes. Uniqode offers a 14-day free trial on its premium plans, and several sources note it does not require a credit card to start. On top of that, there is a 30-day money-back guarantee, so even after you commit to an annual plan you have a window to get a refund. That trial plus guarantee is the main way to test the tool properly, since the QR plans are billed annually with no monthly option. Why does Uniqode bill annually only?
It is a deliberate model choice on the QR plans: Uniqode sells a yearly commitment paid upfront rather than a month-to-month subscription. The upside is a roughly 20% saving versus the reference rate. The downside is real: past the 14-day trial there is no monthly escape hatch, and if you cancel, your dynamic QR codes stop redirecting. So plan the commitment carefully, and lean on the 30-day money-back guarantee to validate before the year locks in.How much does Uniqode cost per seat?
You get a single seat on every plan up to Pro ($49). Team work starts on Plus at $99/month, which includes 3 seats. Beyond those 3, Uniqode charges +$5/seat/month. So a 5-person team on Plus pays $99 plus two extra seats. There is no per-seat pricing on the lower plans, which means a second user alone can be the reason you move from Pro to Plus, regardless of how many QR codes you use.Is Uniqode cheaper than Bitly, Flowcode or QR Code Generator?
It depends on volume. On headline price, Uniqode's $5 entry undercuts Bitly QR ($10/month), Flowcode ($25/month) and QR Code Generator's Advanced plan (~$12.50/month), but Starter only covers 3 QR codes. Watch Bitly: its quota counts QR codes created per month, not a total stock, which hurts bulk creation. At 250 QR codes, Uniqode Pro ($49) sits below Flowcode Pro (~$60) but above QR Code Generator Professional (~$37.50). For pure volume, QR Code Generator is often the cheapest. How much does Uniqode cost for a team?
For a team you are looking at the Plus plan at $99/month, billed annually, which is about $1,188/year and includes 3 seats and 500 dynamic QR codes with 180-day analytics. Beyond 3 people, add +$5/seat/month. Plans below Plus are single-seat, so a team of any size effectively starts at $99. If you need SSO, white-label or unlimited seats, that moves you to Business+, which is a custom quote rather than a public price. Can you cancel Uniqode easily?
You can cancel, but the annual-only model shapes how it works. There is a 30-day money-back guarantee, so a fresh subscription can be refunded within that window. Outside it, you have committed to the year you paid upfront, and cancelling deactivates your dynamic QR codes, meaning the printed codes stop redirecting. So before you cancel, redirect or replace any live QR codes, and export your scan analytics, since the data sits behind the plan. Are static QR codes free on Uniqode?
Yes. Static QR codes are free for life on Uniqode, with no subscription needed. The catch is what static means: the destination is baked into the code, so you cannot edit the link, redirect it, or track scans after printing. For a fixed URL that will never change, free static codes are a genuinely good deal. The moment you need to edit the link or see analytics, you need a dynamic QR code, which starts at $5/month on Starter.
