How Much Does Landbot Cost?

The real price of the no-code chatbot builder, plan by plan, WhatsApp included.

Short answer: Landbot has a free plan (Sandbox, 100 chats a month), then paid plans from €40/month on Starter monthly (€32 with annual billing, roughly 20% off). But the entry price hides two traps. WhatsApp, the main reason most teams look at Landbot, is locked until €80/month (the WhatsApp Starter plan), and €200/month for real volume. And AI chats beyond your plan run €0.10 each. We walk through every plan and what you really pay for your profile.

Prices checked June 2026 on landbot.io/pricing and cross-referenced across several sources. WhatsApp is not covered by the web plans (Sandbox, Starter, Pro): you need a dedicated WhatsApp plan (see below). The volume on the WhatsApp Starter tier varies slightly by source, confirm on the official page.

Mind the entry price

What makes the bill climb

The plan price only tells part of the story. Three lines push the total up: WhatsApp, per-unit overages, and seats. Here is what each piece adds.

The WhatsApp wall (€80 to €200)

WhatsApp exists on no web plan. The real entry point is WhatsApp Starter at €80/month (€64 annual), then WhatsApp Pro at €200/month (€160 annual) with 10,000 service messages and 1 WhatsApp Business number included. This is the price jump that surprises people most, especially after a €40 web Starter.

AI and chat overages (€0.05 to €0.10)

Every web chat beyond your quota costs €0.05. Every AI chat beyond your allowance costs €0.10. Starter only includes 100 AI chats a month, so the moment AI Agent mode runs for real, the bill climbs faster than the pricing grid suggests.

Extra seats and numbers

An extra seat runs €20 to €25/month depending on the plan. An additional WhatsApp number costs €100/month. For a small team sharing bot building, these lines add up quickly.

Meta fees on WhatsApp

On top of your Landbot subscription, you pay Meta's platform fees on WhatsApp. Service messages inside the 24-hour window are free, but marketing messages are billed by Meta (roughly $0.025 to $0.14 depending on country and message type).

  • Building a simple web bot? Starter at €40 is enough, stay on the web plans.
  • Want WhatsApp? Budget €80/month minimum (WhatsApp Starter), not €40.
  • Turning on AI Agent mode? Count AI chats beyond plan at €0.10 each.
  • Need native HubSpot or Airtable? You need the Pro plan (€100).
  • Working as a team? Each extra seat runs €20 to €25/month.
Our method

How we size the real cost

Landbot's listed price does not tell you what you really pay, because the chat quota, the AI allowance and the WhatsApp channel are separate. To size the real cost, we start from the entry plan that matches the need, on annual billing, and add the likely overages. Here are the lines we add up.

  1. Base planWeb or WhatsApp channel, on annual
    €32 to €160
  2. AI chats over planPer AI chat beyond your allowance
    €0.10
  3. Web chats over planPer conversation beyond your quota

Estimates with annual billing (June 2026), based on the entry plans. Adjust for your real volume. The WhatsApp cost includes Meta fees on top of the Landbot subscription. The free Sandbox plan (100 chats/month) still works for prototyping, but it is too limited for production use.

Is Landbot expensive?

Landbot's price versus the alternatives

Landbot compared with the other chatbot builders we have tested. The model differs by tool: per chat (Landbot), per contact (ManyChat) or per conversation (Tidio). The entry prices speak for themselves.

Entry prices checked June 2026 on the official pages. Typebot is open source and the cheapest for pure web chatbots, with a self-host option. ManyChat bills per contact and shines on low-cost social, but its branching logic is shallower than Landbot's. Landbot stands out on no-code UX and AI Agent mode, at the cost of an €80/month WhatsApp wall.

The verdict

So, is Landbot expensive?

Our take after testing it: the entry price is fair for a web bot, but the real cost depends on WhatsApp and AI. Here is when it pays off, and when it stings.

Good value if…

You build a web bot or lead-qualification flow and stay inside the quotas. At €32/month annual on Starter, with one of the best no-code builders on the market and a native AI Agent mode (OpenAI, Gemini), Landbot delivers for a website use case.

Less appealing if…

Your use case is WhatsApp on a tight budget. The jump from €40 (web) to €80/month (WhatsApp Starter), then €200 for volume, is steep. Typebot bundles WhatsApp cheaper, and ManyChat starts far lower for social. If AI runs hard, add AI chats at €0.10 each to the math.

How to pay less

Pay annually to save roughly 20%, stay on the web plans while WhatsApp is not essential, and watch your AI chat allowance to dodge overages. If you are just testing from scratch, the free Sandbox is enough to validate the UX before you pay.

  • Pay annually: roughly 20% off across all plans.
  • Stay on the web plans while WhatsApp is not essential.
  • Watch your AI chat allowance to dodge the €0.10 per chat.
  • Use the 14-day no-card trial to validate the canvas UX.
  • Compare with Typebot if the WhatsApp budget is your blocker.
Pricing FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Landbot pricing

  • How much does Landbot cost per month?
Landbot has a free plan, Sandbox, capped at 100 web chats a month. Paid plans start at €40/month on Starter (€32 with annual billing), then €100/month on Pro (€80 annual). But those prices only cover web and Messenger chatbots. WhatsApp is billed separately, from €80/month on the WhatsApp Starter plan. The Business plan starts at €400/month for teams and agencies. The smart move is to start from the plan that matches your real channel, and add AI overages only if you need them.
  • How much does Landbot cost per year?
On annual billing, Starter runs about €384/year (€32 x 12), Pro about €960/year and WhatsApp Pro about €1,920/year. Annual saves roughly 20% versus monthly across all plans. The WhatsApp Starter plan lands around €768/year. These figures exclude AI chat overages (€0.10 per chat beyond your allowance) and Meta fees on WhatsApp. Always check the exact price on the official page before you pay, since the tiers can change.
  • Does Landbot have a free plan?
Yes, Landbot offers a free plan called Sandbox, which gives you 100 web chats a month, one seat and basic integrations like Zapier and Slack. There is also a 14-day trial with full feature access, no credit card, that auto-downgrades to Sandbox at the end. Sandbox is handy for prototyping, but 100 chats a month is under 4 conversations a day, so it is too thin for production. For comparison, Typebot gives 200 chats a month on its free plan and ManyChat covers 1,000 contacts.
  • How much does Landbot cost for a WhatsApp chatbot?
WhatsApp is available on no web plan. The real entry point is the WhatsApp Starter plan at €80/month (€64 annual), then WhatsApp Pro at €200/month (€160 annual), which includes 10,000 service messages a month and 1 WhatsApp Business number. On top of the Landbot subscription, you pay Meta's platform fees: service messages inside the 24-hour window are free, but marketing messages are billed by Meta. This is the price jump that surprises people most, especially after a €40/month web Starter.
  • How much do extra AI chats cost on Landbot?
Landbot's AI Agent mode includes an AI chat allowance per plan: 100 on Starter, 300 on Pro, 500 on WhatsApp Pro and 1,000 on Business. Beyond that, each extra AI chat costs €0.10. Regular web chats beyond quota cost €0.05 each. For a team running AI Agent mode at volume, these overages add up fast and can exceed the base plan price. It is the easiest line to underestimate in a Landbot budget, so size your AI usage before you commit.
  • Is Landbot more expensive than Typebot or ManyChat?
It depends on the model. Typebot is open source, starts around $39/month on Starter and bundles WhatsApp on paid, with a self-host option, making it the cheapest for pure web chatbots. ManyChat bills per contact, with a free plan up to 1,000 contacts and Pro from about €15/month, but WhatsApp is billed extra by Meta. Landbot bills per chat and starts at €40/month on web, but its €80/month WhatsApp wall makes it pricier than ManyChat for that channel. Landbot mainly justifies itself on no-code UX and native AI Agent mode.
  • What does Landbot's Pro plan at €100/month include?
The Pro plan at €100/month (€80 annual) includes 2,500 web chats a month, 3 seats and 300 AI chats. It is also the tier where native HubSpot and Airtable integrations unlock, since they are absent on Sandbox and Starter. Pro adds advanced flow operations and live chat support. If native HubSpot or Airtable sync is critical to your setup, plan for Pro from the start rather than relying on Zapier from Starter, which still works but is less smooth.
  • Is there a discount for paying Landbot annually?
Yes. Annual billing saves roughly 20% across all Landbot plans. Starter drops from €40 to €32/month, Pro from €100 to €80/month and WhatsApp Pro from €200 to €160/month. That is the main lever to pay less for Landbot. Annual does not cut the AI chat overages or Meta fees, though, which stay billed by usage. The best play is to combine the annual commitment with a plan whose chat quota sits as close as possible to your real volume.
  • How much does Landbot cost for an agency?
For an agency managing bots for several clients, the Business plan starts at €400/month. It includes a custom chat quota, 5 seats, 1,000 AI chats, 3 hours a month of bot management services, a dedicated success manager and an SLA. WhatsApp is included, unlike the web plans. Watch-out: Landbot has no real-time multi-user editing (simultaneous changes overwrite each other), a real drag on teamwork that agencies flag on G2. Each extra seat costs €20 to €25/month.
  • Can I cancel Landbot easily?
Yes, the subscription is managed from your account and you can change plan as your volume shifts. On annual plans you are committed for the term you paid, so pick the right tier before you commit. WhatsApp watch-out: connecting the WhatsApp Business API runs through several Meta approval steps, and support has slipped since the move to an AI-first model in early 2025, with delays reported on complex issues. Export your flows and data before closing your account, and keep control of your WhatsApp number.
