Manychat vs Treble 2026

Short answer: pick Manychat if you run Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp across a small or mid team, pick Treble if WhatsApp is your only revenue channel and you sell B2C in Latin America with HubSpot or Salesforce behind it. Manychat takes the overall, 4.2/5 against 3.5/5 in our hands-on tests.

The catch the stale top-10 keeps missing: Manychat cut its free plan from 1,000 to 25 active contacts on 2 March 2026 and moved AI to a $29/month add-on, while Treble still publishes no price at all. On top of either platform you pay Meta's per-template fees, billed per message sent since July 2025. That fee reality decides more of this match than the logos do.

Romain CochardCEO of Hack'celerationManychat scores 4.2/5 overall, Treble 3.5/5, and Manychat sweeps all five criteria. The split is who each one is built for.

Five rounds

Criterion by criterion, head to head

The same five criteria we scored on each tool's review page. Manychat wins all five, but the picks still split by use case.

Round 1 · Ease of use

01 Round 1: getting the first campaign live.

Manychat
4.5/5
WinnerManychat
Treble
3.6/5
Our verdictEase of use · Winner : Manychat

Manychat takes this 4.5 to 3.6, and the gap is mostly about how fast a team can self-serve. Manychat's drag-and-drop builder, 50-plus templates and instant sign-up got a non-technical client to a live Instagram welcome sequence in under 30 minutes in our tests, with real-time preview to catch logic errors before going live. The friction is learning what each channel allows, since Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp follow different Meta rules.

Treble's no-code builder is genuinely approachable too, and its BSP status removes the worst part of WhatsApp onboarding: it verifies your number and connects the API for you, so a compliant business number lands in days instead of a fight with Meta. The catch is the onboarding model. Full paid access is sales-gated, there is no instant self-serve sign-up for production plans, and the free tier at 5 conversations is too thin to evaluate anything. Manychat's new 25-contact free plan is barely functional either, but at least it is self-serve. Easiest to ship without a sales call goes clearly to Manychat.

Manychat

Choose Manychat if you want to build and launch this afternoon without a sales call.

Treble

Choose Treble if you would rather a BSP handle WhatsApp number verification for you.

Round 2 · Value for money

02 Round 2: where the bill actually lands.

Manychat
3.8/5
WinnerManychat
Treble
2.6/5
Our verdictValue for money · Winner : Manychat

Manychat wins this 3.8 to 2.6, and transparency is the whole story. Manychat publishes all five tiers: Essential at $14/month for 250 active contacts, Pro at $29 for 2,500, Business at $69 for 7,500, all annual. You can model your bill before signing anything. Treble publishes nothing, every paid plan runs through a sales demo, and third parties call it high per agent. You cannot budget Treble up front, full stop.

Neither is cheap once Meta enters the picture. Both pass through Meta's per-template fees, so a 10,000-message marketing broadcast to Brazil costs roughly $625 in Meta fees alone (10,000 x $0.0625) on either platform, on top of the subscription. Manychat's honest bémol is the March 2026 restructure: the free plan dropped from 1,000 to 25 contacts, and the new active-contact model means a dormant list that suddenly engages can trigger overage. Treble's bémol is total opacity plus a $29 AI gap on Manychat's side that Treble bundles in. On pure benchmarkable value, Manychat wins, but Treble can still justify its cost for high-volume WhatsApp-first operations once you have the quote.

Manychat

Choose Manychat if you need published prices you can model before committing.

Treble

Choose Treble if WhatsApp drives enough revenue to absorb a sales-quoted platform fee.

Round 3 · Features and depth

03 Round 3: breadth across channels vs depth in one.

Manychat
4.6/5
WinnerManychat
Treble
4.2/5
Our verdictFeatures and depth · Winner : Manychat

This is the closest battle, 4.6 to 4.2, because the two tools are deep in different directions. Manychat's strength is breadth: six channels, comment-to-DM that captured 340 leads in 48 hours in our tests, story-reply automation, giveaway management, Shopify abandoned-cart recovery and conditional decision trees. AI exists but is a $29/month add-on on Pro and above.

Treble answers with depth inside the one lane that matters to its buyer. The click-to-WhatsApp ad loop turns a paid Meta ad click into a qualified conversation, the multi-agent inbox does bot-to-human handoff properly, and the AI layer (FAQ auto-answering, lead qualification, conversation summarisation, draft assist) is included rather than billed extra. In-chat product catalogue and audio message support fit LatAm WhatsApp behaviour exactly. So Treble's AI is arguably richer at the platform level, and its WhatsApp engine is superior within that single channel. Manychat's multi-channel reach edges the round overall, but the per-tool pick is clean: marketing teams that work several channels lean Manychat, WhatsApp-only revenue operations lean Treble.

Manychat

Choose Manychat for multi-channel marketing across Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp.

Treble

Choose Treble for deep WhatsApp revenue operations with AI included, not added on.

Round 4 · Customer support and assistance

04 Round 4: who answers when it breaks.

Manychat
3.9/5
WinnerManychat
Treble
3.4/5
Our verdictCustomer support and assistance · Winner : Manychat

Manychat edges this 3.9 to 3.4, and it is closer than the numbers look. Manychat brings 200-plus help articles, a 50,000-strong Facebook community where peer answers arrive within hours, and email support on Pro that resolved our two tickets in 8 to 16 hours. The honest catch is no live chat below the Elite tier (around $500+/month), and user reviews document real billing and account complaints, including a paying Pro user unexpectedly downgraded to Free.

Treble's support skews positive on the signals that exist: real-time help in Spanish, Portuguese and English from people described as WhatsApp specialists, plus dedicated onboarding on higher tiers and well-organised docs at help.treble.ai. For a LatAm buyer, native Spanish and Portuguese coverage is a genuine edge. The bémol is a single negative signal, a competitor (Callbell) citing inefficient support, which comes from a rival page and is uncorroborated, so treat it with caution. Manychat wins on breadth of documented help and community size; Treble wins specifically for teams that need native Spanish or Portuguese support.

Manychat

Choose Manychat for deep English docs and a large active community forum.

Treble

Choose Treble for native Spanish or Portuguese support and dedicated onboarding.

Round 5 · Available integrations

05 Round 5: catalogue breadth vs CRM depth.

Manychat
4.3/5
WinnerManychat
Treble
3.6/5
Our verdictAvailable integrations · Winner : Manychat

Manychat wins this 4.3 to 3.6 on total breadth. It ships native Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, MailChimp, HubSpot, Salesforce and Shopify, plus native Zapier into 5,000-plus apps and webhooks for custom builds. If your martech stack is mainstream, Manychat almost certainly connects to it directly.

Treble narrows the gap on one axis that matters to its buyer: CRM depth. Its native HubSpot integration is bidirectional with real-time write-back, the most validated connector in either stack at 1,000-plus installs and 4.5/5 from roughly 55 Marketplace reviews. Salesforce, Google Sheets and a documented REST API round it out, and the free Trebot Chrome extension auto-syncs WhatsApp chats into HubSpot with no code. Two honest gaps: a native Zapier connector is not confirmed for Treble, and the WhatsApp-only scope keeps the ecosystem narrow by design. So Manychat wins on breadth, but a HubSpot or Salesforce-centric WhatsApp team gets deeper, more validated sync from Treble.

Manychat

Choose Manychat for the widest native catalogue plus Zapier into 5,000+ apps.

Treble

Choose Treble for the deepest, most validated real-time HubSpot and Salesforce sync.

Prices checked June 2026. The March 2026 trap on Manychat: a large dormant list that suddenly engages can trigger active-contact overage on a single broadcast. Treble's total cost cannot be modelled without a sales quote. Both stack Meta per-template fees on top.

  • WhatsApp is your primary or only revenue channel and you sell B2C in Latin America, where Treble's BSP-since-2019 status and Spanish or Portuguese support fit

  • You run high-volume click-to-WhatsApp ad campaigns and need a native ad-click-to-conversation flow
  • Your team needs a multi-agent WhatsApp inbox with bot-to-human handoff at scale
  • You want AI features (FAQ auto-answering, summarisation, draft assist) included, not a $29/month add-on

FAQ · 10 questions

Frequently asked questions

  • Is Manychat free in 2026?
Technically yes, but the free plan was cut from 1,000 contacts to 25 active contacts on 2 March 2026, a 97.5% reduction. Twenty-five contacts is a sandbox for demos, not a functional business tier. Any keyword-triggered campaign on a moderately popular Reel exhausts it in a day. The real entry price is now $14/month (Essential, annual) for 250 active contacts. So the honest answer is that Manychat still has a free plan, but it is no longer usable for a working business the way it was before the March 2026 restructure.
  • Is Treble free?
Treble offers a $0 tier limited to 5 conversations deployed, plus a 30-day trial of premium features, with no credit card required. Five conversations is not enough to evaluate a real campaign, so treat it as a first look at the builder rather than a working setup. Every paid plan (Starter, Pro, Advanced) is sales-quoted, with nothing published publicly. To get a real price you have to book a demo. So Treble is free to open, but a genuine evaluation at volume runs through a sales cycle.
  • Manychat vs Treble vs Wati, which is best for WhatsApp?
Wati publishes pricing from around $59/month with self-serve sign-up and is SMB-friendly for WhatsApp-only teams. Manychat adds Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, SMS and Email on top of WhatsApp, starting at $14/month. Treble targets mid-market and enterprise LatAm with stronger native CRM sync and the deepest WhatsApp-API pedigree (BSP since 2019), but pricing is fully sales-gated. So choose Wati for affordable WhatsApp-first with a published price, Manychat for multi-channel reach, and Treble for LatAm enterprise WhatsApp tied to HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • Can you migrate from Treble to Manychat?
Technically yes, but it is a manual rebuild, not a one-click import (⚠ migration steps unverified, no direct source found). Export contacts from where they actually live, usually HubSpot or Salesforce rather than Treble itself, then import them into Manychat and rebuild flows in its visual builder. Three friction points: Manychat's active-contact billing means every imported contact who engages in month one counts toward your plan; WhatsApp opt-in compliance requires re-opting-in contacts on your new Manychat-connected number, which Meta mandates; and you lose Treble's WhatsApp-specific depth. Budget two to four weeks for a clean move.
  • What is the cheapest way to do WhatsApp marketing for a LatAm SMB in 2026?
Treble is built for LatAm but is the least price-transparent option. For a budget-conscious LatAm SMB, Wati starts around $59/month published, while Manychat Pro at $29/month annual includes WhatsApp but adds Meta per-template fees on top (Brazil marketing runs $0.0625 per message). A 1,000-message Brazil campaign adds roughly $63 in Meta fees to the $29 platform cost, about $92 total. Treble's total cost is unknown without a demo and third parties call it high per agent. The cheapest verified option for smaller send volumes is Manychat Essential at $14/month.
  • Does Manychat work for WhatsApp without a subscription?
No. WhatsApp channel access in Manychat requires at least the Pro plan ($29/month annual). The Essential plan ($14/month) gives only two channels, typically Instagram and Facebook Messenger. On top of the plan, you pay Meta's per-template API fees for every outbound WhatsApp message, with marketing rates around $0.025 per message in the US and $0.0625 in Brazil. So the honest answer is that WhatsApp on Manychat means a Pro subscription plus variable Meta fees, not a free path.
  • Manychat vs Treble for a HubSpot-centric team?
Treble wins this specific scenario. Its native HubSpot integration is bidirectional with real-time write-back, has 1,000-plus marketplace installs and a 4.5/5 rating. Manychat connects to HubSpot via Zapier, which adds latency, cost and a potential failure point. So if HubSpot is your CRM of record and WhatsApp is your primary channel, Treble's CRM depth is the better fit despite the opaque pricing. If you also need Instagram, Facebook or email alongside WhatsApp, Manychat's breadth pulls it back into contention even with the shallower CRM path.
  • How does Meta's July 2025 billing change affect Manychat and Treble users?
Since 1 July 2025, Meta bills per delivered template message rather than per 24-hour conversation window, so high-frequency broadcast campaigns now cost more per message. Both Manychat and Treble pass these Meta fees through unchanged. For a 10,000-message marketing broadcast in Brazil, the Meta fee alone is roughly $625 (10,000 x $0.0625), regardless of which platform sends it, and the platform subscription is separate on top. So the change hits heavy broadcasters hardest, and it affects both tools identically because the cost comes from Meta, not the platform.
  • What happened with Manychat and Meta in late 2025?
From October 2025, Manychat faced friction with Meta, which removed it from its partner ecosystem in some regions (⚠ regional details unverified from a neutral primary source). As of November 2025, Manychat confirmed it remained an approved Meta Business Partner overall and kept building features with Meta, though the regional removals were not reversed. Separately, Meta blocked general-purpose AI chatbots on WhatsApp from 15 January 2026, which does not directly affect Manychat's business-automation flows (order tracking, FAQ, lead qualification) running through official API channels.
  • Who is Treble best for, and who should use Manychat instead?
Treble is best for mid-market and enterprise B2C companies in Latin America running WhatsApp-first campaigns on a HubSpot or Salesforce CRM. Skip Treble if you need more than one channel, want published pricing, or are a small team without a sales cycle. Manychat is best for creators, SMBs and agencies managing Instagram DM alongside WhatsApp and Facebook, where its multi-channel breadth is unmatched here. Skip Manychat if WhatsApp is your only channel and you have a large LatAm enterprise audience that needs deep CRM sync and local-language support.
