How Much Does Beefree Cost?
The real price of the email and landing page builder, plan by plan, seats included.
Short answer: Beefree has a free plan (10 designs, 6 exports per month), then paid plans from $25/month on Professional with annual billing ($30 monthly). But that is the price for one or two designers. Because Beefree bills per seat and caps exports, team use climbs quickly: each extra seat costs $15 (Professional) or $35 (Business). Beefree, the key numbers
What each Beefree plan costs
These are the four plans in the Beefree app. The price tracks the number of seats, the export volume and image delivery, not your contacts or emails (Beefree does not send). Annual billing is shown, the lowest; monthly runs about 17% higher. The free plan is permanent, not a trial.

Prices checked June 2026 and cross-referenced across several sources. Beefree bills per seat and by export volume, not by contacts. Extra seats cost $15/month (Professional) or $35/month (Business). The free plan is permanent. Beefree was renamed RGE Studio in 2026, with features and prices unchanged.
What pushes the bill up
The headline price covers one or two designers. As soon as the team or volume grows, several items push the total higher. Here is what costs extra.
Extra seats
This is the number-one cost lever. Each editor seat beyond the two included runs $15/month on Professional and $35/month on Business. A four-designer team on Professional is $25 + 2 × $15, or about $55/month.
The free plan export cap
The Starter plan caps you at 6 exports per month. That is the wall most regular users hit first: as soon as you produce more than six emails or landing pages a month, you have to move to Professional.
Image delivery
Each plan caps image bandwidth: 20GB (Starter), 250GB (Professional), 1TB (Business), 2TB+ (Enterprise). A widely-sent email with heavy visuals can burn through that quota faster than expected.
Workspaces and approvals
Approval workflows, custom landing page domains and the second workspace are reserved for Business ($134/month). That is a steep jump from Professional the moment you need a review-and-approve flow.
- Fewer than 6 exports/month? The free plan is enough.
- Regular solo output? Professional at $25 is the right entry point.
- Several designers? Add $15/month per seat to your math.
- Need an approval flow? You have to move to Business at $134.
- Heavy, widely-sent visuals? Watch your image delivery quota.
How we size the real cost
Beefree's headline price does not tell you what a team pays, because it counts per seat. To size the real cost, we start from the plan that fits the number of designers, on annual billing, then add seats beyond the two included. Here is the logic.
- Number of designers2 included per paid plan, extra ones are billedSeats
- Export volume6/month free, unlimited from Professional× exports
- Base planStarter, Professional or BusinessTier
- Extra seats$15 (Pro) or $35 (Business) per seat+ add-ons

What you actually pay per month
The price hinges mostly on the number of designers and your volume. Four typical profiles, annual billing, assumptions stated.

Estimates with annual billing (June 2026), based on the fitting plan plus extra seats. Adjust for your real number of designers. Beefree bills per seat, not by the volume of emails sent: team size, not your contact base, drives the price difference.
Beefree's price versus the alternatives
Beefree compared with the other drag-and-drop email builders. The paid entry prices are close, but the free plan and the per-seat model make the difference.
Entry prices checked June 2026. Comparable billing models (per seat).
Beefree
Billed per seat
- Permanent free plan (6 exports/month)
- 1,700+ templates, fast to learn
- Extra seats: +$15 (Pro)
Stripo
Billed per seat
- Limited free plan
- Huge template and module library
- Business plan from ~$45/month
Unlayer
Billed per seat
- Team plan at ~$40/month
- Embed/SDK offer for SaaS builders
- Solid features-to-price ratio
Entry prices checked June 2026 on the official pages and cross-referenced with third-party sources. Beefree, Stripo and Unlayer all bill per seat: what separates them is the generosity of the free plan, the template count and the export cap. Stripo and Unlayer also offer much pricier embed plans ($100 to $600/month) aimed at software builders, outside this consumer-facing comparison.
So, is Beefree expensive?
Our take after testing it: the entry price is reasonable, but the real cost depends on team size. Here is when it pays off, and how to pay less.
Good value if…
You work solo or as a pair and produce content regularly. At $25/month annually with unlimited designs and exports, 1,700+ templates and brand styles, Beefree is one of the simplest, fastest builders to ship a clean email without committing to a full sending platform.
Less appealing if…
You have a multi-designer team or you need a review-and-approve flow. Extra seats ($15 to $35) and the jump to Business ($134) push the bill up fast. In that case, compare with Stripo or Unlayer, which are sometimes more generous on user count.
The verdict
Beefree is an excellent builder at a fair price for solo or small-pair use. Start on the free plan to test, move to Professional once you pass 6 exports/month, and only climb to Business if approvals or multi-brand are must-haves.
- Start on the free plan to validate the tool.
- Pay annually: roughly 17% off the Professional plan.
- Stay at two designers where possible to dodge paid seats.
- Only move to Business for approval workflows or multi-brand.
- Watch your image delivery quota on widely-sent emails.
Frequently asked questions about Beefree pricing
How much does Beefree cost per month?
Beefree has a free plan that lets you save 10 designs and export 6 files a month. Paid plans start at $25/month on Professional with annual billing ($30 monthly), with unlimited designs and exports for two designers. The Business plan rises to $134/month annually ($160 monthly) and adds approval workflows and multi-workspace. Because Beefree bills per seat, each extra designer costs $15/month on Professional and $35/month on Business. The smart move is to start on the free plan, then move to Professional as soon as you pass six exports a month.Does Beefree have a free plan?
Yes, and it is permanent, not a time-limited trial. The free Starter plan lets you save up to 10 designs and export 6 files a month, with access to more than 1,700 templates, mobile design mode and 20GB of image delivery. HTML export and integrations with more than 20 ESPs are included. The main limits are the 6-export-per-month cap and the lack of project folders, brand styles and advanced collaboration. For one-off use, it is often enough to pay nothing at all.How much does an extra seat cost on Beefree?
Beefree includes two editor seats on the Professional and Business plans. Beyond that, each extra seat costs $15/month on Professional and $35/month on Business. It is the main item that pushes the bill up for a team. A four-designer team on Professional therefore runs about $55/month (a $25 base plus two seats at $15). If you can stay at two active designers, you avoid that surcharge entirely, since other members can often make do with view-only access, which is included in the plan. What is the price difference between Professional and Business?
The Professional plan costs $25/month annually ($30 monthly) and the Business plan $134/month annually ($160 monthly), roughly a fivefold gap. Both offer unlimited designs and exports and two editor seats. Business adds approval workflows, a second workspace, custom landing page domains, 1TB of image delivery (versus 250GB) and more view-only users. That jump is only worth it if you need a review-and-approve flow or manage several brands. Otherwise, Professional comfortably covers solo or two-person use.Does Beefree bill by contacts or emails sent?
Neither. Beefree is a design builder, not a sending tool: you create your emails and landing pages with drag-and-drop, then export them to your own ESP (Mailchimp, Brevo, HubSpot, and so on) that handles the sending. So Beefree's price hinges on the number of seats, export volume and image delivery, never on your contact base or email volume. That is an important point: you pay for Beefree on top of your sending tool, not instead of it.Is there a discount for paying Beefree annually?
Yes. Annual billing saves about 17% on the Professional plan, which drops from $30 to $25/month, and about 16% on the Business plan, which drops from $160 to $134/month. Over a year, that is roughly $60 saved on Professional and about $312 on Business. It is the main way to pay less for Beefree. Beyond the annual commitment, the best lever is to limit the number of paid seats and only move to Business if its approval features are truly essential to you.How much does Beefree cost for a team?
It depends on the number of designers and your need for approvals. For a small team of three to four designers with no approval flow, expect around $55/month annually: the Professional plan at $25 plus two extra seats at $15. For a team that needs approval workflows, several workspaces or multi-brand management, you have to move to Business at $134/month annually, with extra seats at $35 beyond the two included. Above that, very large multi-brand organizations move to the Enterprise plan, billed on a custom quote. Is the Beefree free plan enough?
For occasional use, yes. The free Starter plan covers 10 designs and 6 exports a month, which is enough for a freelancer or a small business that produces a few emails now and then. The wall comes quickly if you become a regular: as soon as you pass six exports a month, or you need project folders, brand styles or collaboration, you have to move to Professional at $25/month. The free plan is still one of the most generous on the market for trying the tool with no commitment and no credit card.Is Beefree more expensive than Stripo or Unlayer?
The entry prices are close. Beefree starts at $25/month annually on Professional, Stripo from about $15/month and Unlayer Studio at around $20/month for the Designer plan. All three bill per seat, so the final cost mostly depends on your team size and export volume. Beefree stands out with a generous free plan and a fast learning curve, while Stripo offers more templates and reusable modules. For simple solo use, the three are comparable; for a team, compare the cost of extra seats plan by plan. Can I cancel Beefree easily?
Yes, the subscription is cancelled from your account, with no long commitment on the monthly plans. You can also downgrade to the free plan rather than close your account entirely, which keeps access to your last 10 designs. Remember to export your important templates before downgrading or cancelling, since the free plan caps you at 6 exports a month and limits how many designs you keep. Because Beefree does not handle sending, your contact base and campaigns stay with your ESP regardless of your Beefree subscription.
