How Much Does airSlate Cost?
The real price of the airSlate ecosystem, signNow per seat and WorkFlow on credits.
Short answer: signNow, airSlate's e-signature product and the one you actually sign up for, starts at $8 per user/month on annual billing ($20 monthly), with a free trial of around 7 days. But airSlate has two pricing models: signNow is billed per seat, while the WorkFlow automation platform is billed on credits, separately. And every signNow plan caps you at 100 signature invites per user, per year. We walk through every plan, the cap that gets billed on top, and what you really pay for your profile.

What each signNow plan costs
These are the signNow plans, airSlate's e-signature product, the one you sign up for first. Billing is per user. The lowest price is shown annually; monthly billing costs roughly two to two and a half times more. Every plan is capped at 100 signature invites per user, per year, which we cover right after. The WorkFlow automation platform is billed on credits, separately.

Prices checked in June 2026 on signnow.com/pricing and cross-referenced across sources (SignWell, Signeasy, Capterra). Every signNow plan caps you at roughly 100 signature invites per user, per year; beyond that, expect around $1.50 per extra invite (to verify on the official page). API access and the WorkFlow platform are billed separately (see below).
airSlate is billed two ways
signNow's headline price only covers signing, per seat, with a cap. Automation, the API and the full bundle are billed differently. Here is what really pushes the bill up.
signNow (per seat)
The e-signature product: from $8 (Business) to $30/user/month (Enterprise) annually. Every user is a paid seat. A team of 10 on Premium runs $150/month. This is the product we break down in the table above.
The invite cap
Each seat is capped at roughly 100 signature invites per year. Beyond that, you pay per invite (around $1.50 each, to verify). A heavy sender can end up paying several times the sticker price. This is the hidden cost the official pages do not surface.
The signNow API (separate)
API access is not included in any standard plan. It is bought separately: from around $146/month for 1,000 invites a year, then about $500/month for 5,000. An API trial covers around 250 invites (to verify on signnow.com/developers).
airSlate WorkFlow (on credits)
The no-code automation platform is billed on credits, not seats: a Free plan (10 credits/month), Growth ~$399/month (10,000 credits/year), Automate 360 ~$799/month (20,000 credits/year, API included). Unlimited users. A document workflow uses roughly 1 to 3 credits depending on integrations.
- Just need signatures? signNow Business is enough, per seat.
- Sending a lot? Watch the 100-invite/year cap.
- Need the API? It is a separate product, from ~$146/month.
- Want to automate workflows? Go through airSlate WorkFlow, on credits.
- Want the whole ecosystem? airSlate Business Cloud bundles pdfFiller, signNow and WorkFlow, on a quote.
How we price the real cost
signNow's headline price does not tell you what you really pay, because it depends on seat count and send volume. For a typical small team, we take 3 Business Premium seats on annual billing, staying under the cap. Here is the breakdown.
- Business Premium x3 seats3 x $15/user/month annual$45
- Invite overageUnder the 100/seat/year cap$0
- API and WorkFlowNot needed for this profile$0
- Total per monthFor 3 users, signing only~$45

What you actually pay per month
The price depends on seat count, send volume and automation needs. Four typical profiles, annual billing, assumptions noted.
Estimates in USD, annual. Invite overages and add-ons excluded unless noted.

- signNow per seat on top if needed
Estimates on annual billing (June 2026). signNow is billed per seat: a team of 5 pays 5 subscriptions. airSlate WorkFlow is billed on credits with unlimited users. The overage on the 100-invite/seat/year cap (around $1.50 per extra invite) is not included; track it if you send a lot.
signNow's price versus the alternatives
signNow's entry plan compared to other e-signature tools. signNow comes out as the cheapest entry price, but its invite cap can flip the math for a heavy sender. Sort by price or by score.
| Best for | Model | Free plan | Team size | Visit | ||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2 | DocuSign | Market standard | Per seat | 4.3/5 | $10/user/mo | — | SMB to enterprise | Visit → |
| 3 | PandaDoc | Docs + signing | Per seat | 4.2/5 | $19/user/mo | ✓ | Sales and proposals | Visit → |
| 1 | signNow | Cheapest entry | Per seat | 3.5/5 | $8/user/mo | — | Solo to SMB | Visit → |
Entry prices checked in June 2026 (annual, per user). signNow Business ($8) is the cheapest of the set, ahead of DocuSign Personal ($10) and PandaDoc Starter ($19). Dropbox Sign Essentials runs around $10 to $15/user/month. Note: PandaDoc and Dropbox Sign offer a limited free plan, signNow does not. signNow's 100-invite/seat/year cap can raise the real cost for high volume.
So, is airSlate expensive?
Our take after testing it: signNow has the best entry price on the market, but the real cost depends on volume and automation. Here is when it is worth it, and when it stings.
Good value if…
You sign a reasonable volume and run a small team. At $8/user/month annually, signNow Business is the cheapest entry against DocuSign ($10) or PandaDoc ($19), with reusable templates and an audit trail from the first plan.
Too expensive if…
You send heavy volume or want to automate everything. The 100-invite/seat/year cap bills overages per invite, and automation goes through WorkFlow on credits (from ~$399/month) or the API (from ~$146/month). The bill can then exceed competitors with no cap.
The verdict
signNow is an excellent e-signature tool at a fair price, as long as you think per seat and watch the invite cap. Take Business or Premium, pay annually, and only add the API or WorkFlow if you truly need them.
- Pay annually: monthly costs two to two and a half times more.
- Estimate your send volume to stay under 100 invites/seat/year.
- Start on Business, move to Premium for bulk send.
- Only add the API or WorkFlow if automation is a real need.
- Use the free trial (around 7 days) to validate the signing flow.
Frequently asked questions about airSlate pricing
How much does airSlate cost per month?
It depends on the product. signNow, airSlate's e-signature product, starts at $8 per user/month on the Business plan with annual billing, or $20/month billed monthly. Business Premium is $15 per user/month and Enterprise is $30 per user/month annually. The airSlate WorkFlow automation platform is billed on credits, separately: a Free plan (10 credits/month) then Growth at about $399/month. The smart move is to start with signNow alone and add automation only if you need it.How much does signNow cost per user?
signNow is billed per seat. The Business plan is $8 per user/month on annual billing ($20 monthly), Business Premium is $15 per user/month ($30 monthly) and Enterprise is $30 per user/month ($50 monthly). Every extra user is another subscription, so the cost grows with team size. A team of 5 on Business Premium runs about $75/month annually. The Site License plan, on a custom quote, drops per-seat billing in favor of per-signature pricing.Do airSlate or signNow have a free plan?
It depends on the product. signNow has no permanent free plan: it offers a free trial of around 7 days, after which you must move to a paid plan to keep sending documents for signature. The airSlate WorkFlow platform, however, has a Free plan at $0 with around 10 credits per month, enough to test automation at a very small scale. For comparison, PandaDoc and Dropbox Sign offer a limited free plan for signing, which signNow does not. What is the price difference between signNow and airSlate WorkFlow?
The two products are billed differently. signNow is an e-signature tool billed per seat: $8 to $30 per user/month depending on the plan, annually. airSlate WorkFlow is a no-code automation platform billed on credits, with unlimited users: a Free plan (10 credits/month), Growth at about $399/month (10,000 credits/year) and Automate 360 at about $799/month (20,000 credits/year, API included). A document workflow uses roughly 1 to 3 credits depending on integrations. In short: signNow to get documents signed, WorkFlow to automate full document processes. Is there a sending cap on signNow?
Yes, and it is the thing to watch. Every signNow plan (Business, Premium, Enterprise) caps you at roughly 100 signature invites per user, per year. Once you hit that quota, each extra invite is billed, around $1.50 each according to sources (to verify on the official page). For a heavy sender, that overage can amount to several times the subscription price. It is a cost the official pages do not clearly surface. If you send a lot, the Site License plan, with per-signature pricing, may become more attractive. Is the signNow API included in the price?
No. API access for signing is not included in any standard plan (Business, Premium, Enterprise). It is a separately billed product, from around $146/month for 1,000 invites a year, then about $500/month for 5,000 invites, on an annual commitment. An API trial covers around 250 invites. These figures come from third-party sources and should be confirmed on signnow.com/developers. If the API is your main need, also compare the Site License plan, which includes full API access, and the WorkFlow platform, whose API is included from Automate 360.How much does airSlate cost for a team?
For a team, signNow is calculated per seat. Three users on Business Premium run about $45/month annually (3 x $15), five users on Enterprise about $150/month (5 x $30). On top of that, you may pay for exceeding the 100-invite-per-seat-per-year cap if the team sends a lot. If you need to automate workflows beyond signing, add airSlate WorkFlow, from the Growth plan at about $399/month, with unlimited users. For the whole ecosystem, the Business Cloud bundle groups pdfFiller, signNow and WorkFlow, on a custom quote. Is there a discount for paying annually?
Yes, and it is the main way to save on signNow. Annual billing brings the Business plan from $20 to $8 per user/month, Business Premium from $30 to $15 and Enterprise from $50 to $30. In other words, monthly costs roughly two to two and a half times more than annual. On the WorkFlow platform, the Growth and Automate 360 plans are shown at annual pricing. So the best move to pay less for airSlate is the annual commitment, plus only subscribing to the seats and products you really need.Is signNow cheaper than DocuSign or PandaDoc?
On entry price, yes. signNow Business at $8 per user/month annually is cheaper than DocuSign Personal (about $10), Dropbox Sign Essentials (about $10 to $15) and PandaDoc Starter (about $19). DocuSign Standard even climbs to $25 per user/month. That said, signNow caps invites at 100 per seat per year, where some competitors do not limit signing the same way: for very high volume, the real cost can converge. And both PandaDoc and Dropbox Sign offer a limited free plan, which signNow does not.Can you cancel airSlate easily?
Yes, the subscription cancels from your account. The thing to watch is the commitment: signNow's lowest prices assume an annual commitment, so you pay for the year even if you do not use every seat. Adjust your seat count before renewal rather than mid-year. On airSlate WorkFlow, the Free plan lets you test with no commitment, and unused credits do not roll over indefinitely. Before closing your account, export your signed documents and templates, and check the renewal date to avoid being auto-renewed.
