Our approach

How we run a SurveyMonkey project.

Five steps, in order. We don't write a single question before the research question is clear, we don't field without a sampling plan, and your team owns the survey at the end. Each step has a deliverable and you sign off before we move on.

  1. Step 1 · Research audit

    Pin down what you actually need to learn

    We start with the decision behind the survey, not the questions. What will you do differently depending on the result? Who has to answer for the data to mean anything? Half the value is here: cutting the questions that feel nice but change nothing, and making sure SurveyMonkey is even the right tool before you build.   2. Step 2 · Design the survey

    Question types, scales and a flow that gets finished

    We build the questionnaire: the right mix of multiple choice, matrix, ranking and open text, neutral wording that doesn't lead the answer, and validated NPS, CSAT or CES scales where you need a comparable metric. Skip logic and branching keep it short for each respondent. The goal is a survey people finish and data you can defend, not a 40-question wall that gets abandoned.

    We work the Analyze tab properly: cross-tabs to compare segments, filters to isolate a group, weighting to correct a skewed sample, and benchmarks to read your NPS or CSAT in context. A/B tested question versions tell you which framing was clearer. You get the finding written plainly and the decision it supports, not a CSV export you open once.

  5. Step 5 · Integrate & hand over

    Wire it in, then get out of the way

    We connect SurveyMonkey to your CRM, Slack or warehouse through native integrations and the API, and set up recurring NPS or CSAT tracking that runs on a schedule. We configure skip logic so respondents jump past questions that don't apply, page and question branching so the path adapts to earlier answers, and answer piping so the survey feels personal instead of generic. Done right, each person sees a shorter, relevant survey, which lifts completion rates and keeps your data clean. We test every path before you field it so nobody lands in a dead end.
  • How do you make sure the data is reliable?
    Reliability starts at design: non-leading wording, balanced answer options, and validated scales so you're not measuring an artifact of the question. At fielding, we use screening and quotas to get the right respondents, and watch early returns for confusion. At analysis, we apply weighting to correct a skewed sample, use cross-tabs to check that a result holds across segments, and read your score against a benchmark.
