The Semrush agency.Data turned to rankings.

Semrush can audit your site, map every keyword and read your competitors, but a seat with no plan just sits there collecting estimates. We run the Site Audit, the research and Position Tracking, then turn it all into a prioritized roadmap your team can execute.

What we do

A Semrush agency turns the data into a plan, not just a login.

Anyone can buy the seat. Reading the Site Audit, scoring the keyword gaps, and turning Semrush data into priorities your team can ship is a different job. Here are the four things we own.

Method · 4 stages

We run Semrush like an SEO program, not a report generator.

Most Semrush engagements die the same way: a seat bought, a crawl exported, a keyword list dumped into a sheet, and nothing prioritized or shipped. So we treat it like a program: audit where you stand, research the queries worth chasing, build a roadmap in priority order, and track positions against your own Search Console data so the estimates get checked.

  • Audit · Site Audit, Domain Overview and Organic Research to map where you stand
  • Research · Keyword Magic Tool, Keyword Gap and Market Explorer to find the wins
  • Roadmap · priorities scored by intent, difficulty and effort, not a keyword dump
  • Track · Position Tracking wired to Search Console so estimates get checked

Differentiator · no badge

We run on Semrush data every day.

We don't chase an Agency Partner tier. We use Semrush on our own SEO and our clients', including this site, so we read its data the way it actually behaves: volumes and scores as signals, cross-checked against Search Console, priorities drawn from intent, not from whatever number looks biggest. That's exactly what's missing when an engagement ends at exporting a crawl.

  • We use Semrush daily on our own SEO and our clients', so we read its data the way it actually behaves, not the way a sales demo frames it.
  • Estimates, not promises: Semrush volumes, KD and Authority Score are signals we cross-check against Search Console, never numbers we sell as guarantees.
  • You leave autonomous: the workflow, projects and reports live in your Semrush, so your team can run it without us.
  • No badge to chase. We're judged on whether your rankings and traffic move after we leave, not on an Agency Partner tier.

What we set up

Semrush at the core, your SEO program around it.

We configure the parts that turn Semrush data into ranking movement, then connect them to how your team already works. Here's what a real engagement covers.

Free audit · 60 minutes

We read your Semrush data, you leave with a plan.

Before quoting anything, we take 60 minutes to look at your site, your rankings and where Semrush data points to a real win. You leave with an honest read on what to fix first, which keywords are worth chasing, and where the volume is too thin to bother. Zero pitch, just an SEO's take on your visibility.

  • An honest read on where Semrush data points to a win
  • The technical and on-page fixes to prioritize first
  • The keywords and content briefs worth building
  • A frank take on what SEO won't fix for you

Our approach

How we run a Semrush engagement.

Five steps, in order. We don't build a roadmap before we audit, we don't chase keywords the data says won't pay off, and your team owns the account at the end. Each step has a deliverable and you sign off before we move on.

  1. Step 1 · SEO audit

    Map where you actually stand

We run the Site Audit, Domain Overview and Organic Research to see your real position: the technical issues costing rankings, the keywords you already own, and the pages carrying the traffic. We read your top competitors the same way. Half the value is telling you where Semrush data points to a real win and where the search volume is too thin to bother, so you don't pour effort into queries that won't pay off.

  2. Step 2 · Keyword & competitor research

    Find the queries worth chasing

We pull the Keyword Magic Tool for the full query space, run Keyword Gap against your competitors to find the terms they win and you don't, and use Market Explorer to read the wider landscape. Each keyword gets scored by intent, difficulty and the effort to rank, so the research turns into a shortlist you can act on instead of a spreadsheet with ten thousand rows.

  3. Step 3 · Prioritized roadmap

Turn the data into a plan in priority order

We build the roadmap: which pages to fix first, which content to write, which links to pursue, ranked by the payoff the data suggests and the effort to get there. Technical fixes go to engineering with impact attached; content goes to writers as briefs from Topic Research and the SEO Writing Assistant. Nothing ships as a vague 'improve SEO' line. Every item has a why and an expected move.

  4. Step 4 · Track & report

Wire Position Tracking to real outcomes

We set up Position Tracking on the keywords tied to your goals and connect Search Console and Google Analytics so Semrush estimates get checked against real clicks and impressions. Reporting shows ranking movement against traffic, not a wall of metrics. You see what shifted, why, and what to prioritize next, on a cadence your team can actually use.

  5. Step 5 · Enable & hand over

Train the team, then get out of the way

We train your team to read Semrush instead of fearing it: how to use Keyword Magic, read Position Tracking, and tell a real opportunity from a thin one. The projects, dashboards and workflow stay in your account, documented so a new hire can pick it up. If you want to go deeper or want us on the next phase, we talk about that separately rather than locking you into a retainer.

Proof · what the teams say

We're judged on the rankings that move.

No partner badge to display, so we lead with what matters: feedback from the teams whose Semrush program we ran, and whether their rankings and traffic kept moving after we left. Our Trustpilot reviews come from those teams, not from a marketing deck.

  • The projects and reports live in your Semrush, owned by your team
  • Estimates cross-checked against Search Console, not sold as promises
  • Roadmap scored by intent and effort, shipped in priority order
  • Trustpilot reviews come from the teams we ran the program for

FAQ · Semrush agency 2026

The questions we get asked on repeat.

  • What does a Semrush agency actually do?
A Semrush agency runs SEO with the Semrush suite and turns the data into action, instead of leaving you with a seat nobody knows how to read. We run the Site Audit, use Domain Overview, Organic Research and the Keyword Magic Tool to map where you and your competitors stand, set up Position Tracking, and build content briefs from Topic Research. The point is a prioritized roadmap your team can execute, not a dashboard you log into once and forget.
  • How much does working with a Semrush agency cost?
It depends on scope: a one-off audit and roadmap is nothing like an ongoing program with monthly research, content briefs and tracking. We don't throw out a flat package. We start with a free 60-minute audit to find where Semrush data points to a real win, then quote a fixed scope. The Semrush subscription itself you pay Semrush directly; we set up the projects and reporting so the work is yours to keep.
  • Do I need to buy Semrush, or do you provide access?
Best practice is that the Semrush subscription lives in your account, billed by Semrush, so the projects, history and reports stay yours when we're done. We set up the workspace, the Position Tracking projects and the dashboards inside it, and train your team to use them. If you're evaluating a plan, we'll tell you honestly which tier your use case actually needs rather than pushing the top one.
  • How do you use the Keyword Magic Tool and Keyword Gap?
The Keyword Magic Tool maps the full query space around your topics; Keyword Gap shows the terms your competitors rank for and you don't. We pull both, then score each keyword by search intent, Keyword Difficulty and the effort to move it. That turns a list of thousands of keywords into a shortlist of queries worth chasing, which becomes the backbone of the content and on-page roadmap, not a spreadsheet that sits unused.
  • Can you run the Site Audit and fix what it finds?
Yes. We run the Site Audit to surface crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals and on-page issues, then triage them by impact instead of handing you every warning the crawler flags. The high-impact technical fixes go to your engineering team with the reasoning attached, and we can wire them into your workflow. The goal is fixing the issues that actually cost rankings, not chasing a perfect audit score that changes nothing.
  • Are Semrush keyword volumes and scores accurate?
They're estimates, and we treat them as such. Search volume, Keyword Difficulty and Authority Score are modeled signals, useful for direction but not exact. That's why we connect Position Tracking to Google Search Console and Analytics: Semrush tells us where to look, your own data tells us what's really happening. Anyone who quotes you guaranteed rankings off a Semrush number is selling you the demo, not the reality.
  • When is a Semrush agency NOT the right fit?
If you want guaranteed rankings or a magic number, we're the wrong call, because a tool is not a strategy and Semrush data is estimates, not promises. If your site has no content engine and no one to ship fixes, a roadmap will sit unused. And if your market is tiny, the search volume may be too thin to justify a full program. We'll tell you that in the audit instead of selling you a subscription you won't use.
  • Do you handle the content, or just the data?
Both, and the content is where rankings are won. We use Topic Research and the SEO Writing Assistant to turn keyword and intent data into briefs your writers can execute, with the target query, the questions to answer and the competitors to beat. If you have a content team, we hand them briefs they can run. If you don't, we'll tell you that's the gap to fix before SEO can return anything.
Run Semrush right

Stop staring at the dashboard. Turn it into rankings.

A 60-minute audit, your Semrush data read, a roadmap with priorities scored by intent and effort. If your team can run it in-house after setup, we'll hand you the playbook. If we're the right fit, we handle it.
